Lithostylis 2021 Monolith Chardonnay

Lithostylis 2021 Monolith Chardonnay.

Deep volcanic ironstone soils. Mature vines. Careful hand-tending of close-planted vines. A cool-maritime climate. A vigneron who listens. These are the ingredients of our ‘terroir’. A sense of place, a reflection of challenges faced and decisions made.

“Aromas of lemon, wildflowers and pear. Savoury overtones with a hint of toasty oak. A fine yet weighty palate with mineral acidity and persistent lemon and green apple flavours. The structure and acidity of the wine suggests pairing with a variety of cheeses or dishes where citrus is a key ingredient. Complexity builds with time in glass as it will with careful cellaring. Built to cellar and evolve for 10+ years. A great expression of the terroir of South-Gippsland.”

Monolith. Lithe & Stylish.

The Monolith is an expression of site. It’s finesse, length and minerality are a reflection of South Gippsland’s volcanic soils and predictably wild cool-maritime climate. Built to last. A monument to the season.
