‘The Red Dwarf’

Named due to it’s diminutive size (5.6 acres) and deep red soil, this is our estate vineyard, source of our finest Pinot Noir fruit. Established in 1997 and planted to a mix of clones, dominated by MV6.

Pinot Noir from the site often displays floral aromatics and a mandarin character along with the primary fruit characters of raspberry and cherry.

Chardonnay is located on a westerly facing slope which promotes early flavour development and a ripe flavour spectrum – stonefruit, honeydew melon, orange blossom – underlined by a citrussy acidity.
